CAME stands for Cognitive Acceleration through Maths Education. It actually began life at Kings College, London as a research project directed by Professor Michael Shayer. Today the approach is more commonly linked to specific curriculum resources namely:

  1. Thinking Maths - aimed at 11 to 13 year olds
  2. Primary CAME - aimed at 9 & 10 year olds
  3. Let's Think through Maths - aimed at 6 to 8 year olds
